C'è scritto che questo set è pensato per i raspberry pi 1/2/3.
Io possiedo un Raspberry Pi 4 model B da 4 gb ram. Se scarico questo set, poi ci sono delle roms che dovrei scaricare a parte che non funzionano sui raspberry più vecchi del mio?

Non devi pensare di fare altre cose, il modello di raspberry non centra, anche sul 4 e 5 va benissimo.
Il core di MAME2003Plus è il core più installato nei dispositivi leggeri.
E' ovvio che in un RaspBerry Pi più potente come il 4B, 5, 6
che hanno 4-6-8 GB di RAM è consigliato installare il core MAME Current.

Non esistono roms del MAME per il raspberry pi 4 più potente, il romset è lo stesso.
E' la potenza hardware della versione del raspberry che lo
rende meno utilizzabile: gliitch, crash, rallentamenti, etc...

Devi scaricare solo le cartelle CHD che non hai, quelle che ho ricaricato recentemente.

1 rom in più equivale ad una rom sconosciuta che mi è stata rimossa dai tools che
utilizzo per sistemare tutto il mio set, purtroppo mi è sfuggito il nome da riportare.
Ho confrontato i miei exe della v0.236 con i nuovi della v0.237,
non si tratta di un gioco ma di una rom di tipo software/bios (non un gioco)
Non è un problema avere 1-2-3 roms in più o in meno,
l'importante che si totalizza 0 incorrect e 0 missing. ;)

Avere 1-2-3 roms in più o in meno non è un problema, l'importante che risultano 0 missing all'audit all games.
La cartella polystar è presente nella quarta parte dei CHD, le cartelle dei CHD
sono state risistemate, riorganizzate nei vari percorsi quindi non c'è una mia dimenticanza.
La cartella blitz99a non essendo più supportata è palese che è una di quelle da eliminare.
Le recenti cartelle dei CHD del sistema CPS3 li ho menzionati nel file di testo
dell'update roms from v0.236 to v0.237, non ho dimenticato di scrivere i nomi.

The previous CPS3 set is composed of 41 zip files and 6 CHD folders to remove.
Scanning my complete set through the tools that i use, 3 roms have
been updated changing the name and combined in the new archives.

(supported in v0.236, not supported in v0.237)
but at this moment i don't know the name, sorry...
If you have 3 roms more but you have 0 missing it is not a problem.
Having 2-3 roms more or less is not a problem if you have 0 missing found in the audit all games.

Some bootleg/hack clones have been changed, for this reason there are 3 unknown roms more.
For this reason they escaped in reporting their names to the roms to be removed.
spcdraga.zip have changed the name in v0.237, i managed to
report this but another 3 zip files they escaped from the checks.

UPDATE: i found cosmica2.zip and cosmica3.zip to remove.

IN ARCADE FIX puoi cambiare il colore, io l'ho imposto celestino ma lo puoi cambiare.
Non ricordo se supporta il bkgroud, il MAMEUI FIX si oppure MAME FIX + MAMEPGUI
che sarebbe un GUI utilizzato all'epoca con il mame plus a riga di comando.

Puoi anche abbinare ARCADE + MAMEPGUI impostando il bkground.
Il MAMEPGUI lo trovi nel percorso Front-End and GUI ---> GUI.

Ok. È quello che sto provando a fare, ma dentro gli zip che scarico trovo sempre dei file .dat che bon capisco cosa farne. Ad esempio che ne faccio di icons.dat versione 0.236? Grazie

I dat delle icons, dei snap o dei title non servono, ci sono dat che servono per tools come clrmamepro per sistemare tutta la cartella di quell'extra, a te non servono.
Non confondere i dat che servono al mame per leggere dei file testuali dai dat che servono ai tools,
ad esempio history adesso è xml, hiscore è .dat, se vedi altri dat sicuramente saranno per i tools.

Ad esempio quelli presenti sul questo forum ovvero gli ESSENTIAL EXTRAS, sono versione 0.230.
Se dal sito ProgettoSnaps scarico gli update, ad esempio delle ICONS v 0.236, vi sono i seguenti file:
- cartella icons
- file dat
- file ini

Oltre a copiare la cartella icons 0.236 dentro quella del MameArcade, cosa devo fare con i file dat e ini?

Ciao purtroppo l'aggiornamento del materiale extras non riesco a seguirlo versione dopo
versione, lo aggiorno raramente cmq su progetto snaps ci sono diversi aggiornamenti.
Consiglio di sistemare e aggiornare quelli più importanti: snap, titles, icons, cheat, hiscore e history.

El romset (file zip) tiene que bajar todo de nuevo, para los
CHD debe mirar las pagina de download como una lista,
eliminar la carpeta CHD que no comparto, dejando 95 carpetas.

Thanks, i have to fix my MAMEUI LASERDISC EDITION,
I have to add ldv1000 and pr8210, these two roms compare in the games list because have a driver.
I have to add also 22vp931 and simutrek but these two roms not compare in the games list becuase not have a driver.
The games list upgrade to 20 Games, from 18 ---> to 20 but 2 are not games.
ldv1000 and pr8210 are not games, are a machine roms, works as a bios.
From 18 zip files the roms folder upgrade to 22 zip files.
I have to recompile the MAMEUI LASERDISC EDITION tomorrow 13/10/2021.

I don't update frequently the various EXTRAS,
MasterStiller Samples Collection v8 works fine in the current v0.236 builds.
I update the samples when i think necessary, it is not necessary to update always for each number version.

22vp931 this rom it is not present in the original MAME list.
ldv1000.zip and pr8210 these roms regards the other laserdisc
games that i have removed, don't regards the games supported.
I think the problem is only 22vp931.zip rom that i not
have added, i forgot to add this rom, i have to add it...

UPDATE: i added 22vp931.zip in the roms for MAMEUI LASERDISC EDITION.

Try to delete ldv1000.zip and pr8210 and inform me if everything works without problems.
Note: some games are Not Working (not playable), it's normal! ;)
